Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas!
This is a picture of my little sister and me on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. A lot of people think that Vegas is just fun for adults, but I'm going to tell you about 5 cool and fun things kids can do there.
1. Fremont Street--There's not a lot here for kids, but my sister Ellie and I managed to have a blast. The coolest thing about Fremont Street is the Fremont Street experience that includes a super-incredible light and music show. To experience it, just look up! The lights are all around you. You can also zip-line over the street if you are brave enough. It's amazing.
2. The Strip--Walk up and down the strip and look at all the amazing casinos. There's a roller coaster at New York Casino. Across the street, next to the MGM Casino is M&M World where you can stuff a bag full of fun M&Ms in a rainbow of colors.
3. Circus Circus The Adventuredome--Feel like riding on a roller coaster? Well you've come to the right place. In Adventuredome there are lots of rides and games including a roller coaster and a water log ride--all indoors! But I'm warning you, the roller coaster isn't for scardy cats. If you are a scardy cat, you might like the 5D movie theatre, kiddie rides and fun carnival games. I promise you'll want to go again.
4. The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay--Probably the most amazing thing to do in Las Vegas is the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. Here you can get up close and personal with sharks, a komodo dragon, and jelly fish. And you can even shake hands with sting rays and horseshoe crabs (without getting stung!) The glass floors in one of the rooms make it so sharks can swim right under your feet! I've been to a lot of aquariums, all over the world and this was the best ever.
5. Free Shows at Hotels--Several of the hotels have free shows that go on several times a night. At Treasure Island, there is a pirate show where girl and boy pirates battle (the girls win!!!). At The Bellagio, go see the most incredible water fountain you've ever seen. And end your night at the Mirage where you can watch a volcano erupt right before your very eyes!
I hope I've convinced you (and maybe your parents too) that going to Las Vegas can be fun for the entire family! Have you been to Vegas? Tell me about it!
Vegas can be fun for kids, we took our kids there!
